Privacy & GDPR

Your email stays yours.

This page is maintained by IDA DSP to answer common privacy questions about the 1994 Channel Drive demo request form. It is not a legal certification — it is a plain-English description of what we actually do with the details you send us.

Our promise

  • — We will never ever spam your email.
  • — We will never sell, rent, or trade your email or DAW/OS.
  • — We will not add you to a marketing list without a separate opt-in.
  • — You can ask us to delete your record at any time.

What we collect

When you submit the demo request form, we store:

  • — Your email address.
  • — Your DAW / OS answer (optional, free text).
  • — A record that you ticked the consent checkbox, with the exact consent text and a timestamp (required by GDPR for auditability).

We do not use tracking cookies, third-party ad pixels, or fingerprinting.

Why we use it

Solely to reply to your demo request — to send you the 1994 Channel Drive demo installer when it is ready, and, if relevant, follow-up updates about that same request. That is the entire purpose.

Legal basis (GDPR)

Consent, freely given by ticking the checkbox on the demo request form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until the demo campaign is closed and the record is no longer needed — whichever comes first. Duplicate submissions within 24 hours are silently ignored to avoid clutter.

Where it is stored

In our managed cloud backend, protected by row-level security so the record is only reachable by IDA DSP through a service key. Transport is encrypted (HTTPS).

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask us to:

  • — Access the data we hold about you.
  • — Correct it if it is wrong.
  • — Delete it (right to erasure).
  • — Withdraw your consent.
  • — Receive a copy in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We aim to reply within a few working days.
